Walking in the Dreamland

WALKING IN DREAMLAND (PHOTOSHOP ANIMATION)

In this task we were asked to animate a walk cycle on our own. we get to decide what our character would be how it looked like and how to animate it so it can make sense. As i have decided to do something challenging compared to last walk cycle. I choose the 4 legged animal dog . As soon as I was searching the walk cycle for the same it looked easy to animate a walking dog. so i founded a reference image of something in between walking and trotting dog .

I saved the image and opened the photoshop and started setting up the document. with 300 ppi and 16 into 7 cm draft of animation. thereafter enabled the options like timeline brushers swatches brush settings etc. basically what we did in previous project. Then started working by importing the reference image and making layers for different body parts such as tail , head , body and four legs. As it was a running moment i had to animate it in the gap of 2 frames. As soon as i was done with animating by match moving the layers using puppet tool and warping the layers as per the reference image on 12 different . made it one smart object out of whole walk cycle and looped it. so i can have more freedom in back ground panoramic image. I wanted to keep it simple with small meaningful things. so i build the simple fore ground back ground and sky.

The project is named walking in dreamland I wanted it to look like as if this is dreamland of the character i choose. so i improvised the trees clouds and sun. according to the dog . which i thinks looks relevant and beautiful. After that i animated the back ground and on a different layer made the shadow and animated it too.
There was many fails but by the error and trials I got the expected results. Then exported it through same process.  file>export> export through web legacy. I saved the GIF file with MP4 too.

(The final GIF export)
