Independent Project : Short Film

 This module was one of the best modules so far I enjoyed discussing ideas, roles, and places to shoot with my group. We had to change our ideas due to some complications but in the end when we realised that Razna was really good with the monologue in the background of a montage. So we decided to experiment with familiar backgrounds. As our title was glimpse which was idea of Razna we all loved. A Glimpse is a montage of people in London. We are showing the people who indulge in themselves or the person they are talking to. Exploration, Thinking, Feeling, and Interpreting, to name a few of the things we feel when we pass by someone. We contemplate the stories which lay deep within humans but will never know. Just a glimpse we can catch when some stranger passes by. Followed by a beautiful monologue and ambient music.  We struggled with managing time with each other and deciding the time to shoot our material.However, we all respected each other's time and decided to shoot when everyone was free. We went out to shoot in central London where we can find beautiful visuals and as lucky as it can get it was raining lightly the same day we captured people roaming the streets. It did not feel like a project it felt like I was hanging out with my friends which was the fun part. We explored streets and I was the camera operator so I was shooting and Razna was directing me and giving me angles and compositions in which I can shoot. Razna was overall leader of the group. I was the one behind camera and processing stuff and giving ideas and making plans where to go. The most fun shoot was one at the twist museum we all got together and booked the tickets and went the day after it was surreal to see all those colors lights and reflections with illusions. We had the best time ever at that time I realised that how much satisfying this can be working on a project to pass the module which turned into this exciting experience. working with firnds like Dervin and Razna was great. Then we usedto sit in baseroom and discuss about post production selecting clips which we want to be finalised to add and trimming it in priemere pro . We divided the treatment , synopsis and story boards between us and went on Christmas break. By the time we finished writing stuff raz had already edited the video and ended it to us on ur group chat. We all loved it and was very proud by end result.
