Premiere Pro : Colors

In today's session we learned about professional color grading tools in Premiere Pro. We got familiar with few diagrams which represent colors and few new terminology which is used by such tools.

We had raw footage of a steam train and it was faded as most of raw footages are so we color graded it to look more natural and high definition. We did it according to the HSL and LUV . we used multiple tools such as saturation, hue, contrast, brightness, etc

Once it was good we had to key out the sky with mask because it was no good. We used ultra key effect and made a mask around that sky patch and inverted it so smoke of train does not come in way.

After that we moved on to color grade water color and fluids which was very interesting and we had a basic idea of what to do as soon as we graded it .I started to experiment with multiple of that footage , ultra key and blending modes etc. I arranged multiple of it in a grid with different blending modes to give it a try and it turned out to be great.

The next thing we tried was color coding the faces from our green screen footage and we had to show what we color coded which was also very easy and interesting because of footages and tools we could look like a filmstars by just knowing what to do. So we did that arranged that with water footage and it was great.
